Perry Long`s Lobster Shack in Surry

Awesome place- literally on a pier on the bay. Aluminum picknic tables with umbrellas. Met up with old friends here and collectively, had two different appetizers -- both delicious, whole lobster, lobsterac and cheese, lobster rolls, and crab claws. It was all perfect--- exactly what you dream of when you dream of a Maine lobster shack. It's about 1 hour outside of Bar Harbor and totally worth the drive.

Great family owned restaurant. Amazing dock to sit on and enjoy the views of the bay. It is a working dock so you can see them bring in the lobster that they will be serving. Great people working there.

I had the lobster mac and cheese. It was delicious and full of lobster. A beautiful day with a beautiful view. Our waitress was very personable. The only thing that was off putting are the outside lavatories. They were not clean, at all.

Worth the drive out to Surrey to visit this lobster shack. We had the Perry's Sampler which included crab rolls, lobster rolls, crab claws, and steamed mussels and clams, all while sitting on the dock smelling the sea and enjoying the breeze. It was fantastic. If I could give it more stars, I would.

Outdoor ocean deck free range local lobsters. Be sure to bring some beer or wine. And cash or check.

I was here last week. Lobster was perfectly cooked and meaty. Servers were very nice. Per my son crab sandwich was very good. Awesome backdrop of ocean and mountain. A little bit drive from Acadia but worth it.

My Daughter, Kaycie, took me to Perry's for lunch last week. It was fabulous. We both had Perry's salad topped with fresh lobster meat. The warm blueberry pie ala mode was delicious as well! They have a friendly staff and the view is phenomenal. I highly recommend it!

A true hidden treasure on a quiet bay. Lobsters are fresh off the boat daily. Accessible by boat or vehicle, dining on a dock or on land. Friendly staff and a great selection of seafood fare, even have a child's menu. Fills up fast, so get there early or you may have to wait, but the wait WILL BE WORTH IT! No better lobster or lobster rolls around. Muscles and Soft Shell Clams are locally sourced, great with an ear of field fresh corn on the cob. Don't forget to check out the dessert menu, locally made pies & icecream. Finally you need to stop at the gift shop to find yourself a great quality Perrys Lobster Shack hoodie or tshirts, keychains, decals & other accessories. Support local family's & businesses!

The perfect setting for fresh Maine Lobstah! The food was amazing... the service was fast and there was zero complaints! Definately a must for anyone looking for seafood!

You cannot get a better experience for lobster. They know how to cook them, perfect. We drove an hour each way every day to get lobsters, clams and mussels here. A must stop in Maine.

Very good restaurant. This restaurant is a great place to come if you want to relax, eat outside and watch the ocean, but if you have kids you might want to find another place to eat unless they like lobster (like me!). I came here with my grandmother and some relatives, since the kids menu only had chicken fingers and cheeseburgers I decided to order a soft shelled lobster witch was amazing. The tables all have umbrellas to keep you nice and cool, each table holds up to 6 people. The employees were very nice and after ordering 7 lobsters and a lobster roll witch all came with corn, rolls, and cole slaw we got our food in about 20 minutes. Overall great restaurant I would definitely eat there again.

Better than average "Lobster Shack" on a private dock... service good, food good... nothing stands out to make it better than the crowd... Blue Berry Pie could be a stand out... so if you find yourself in surry area, it's better than most of the on the water shacks... Price is in line with normal... you will get treated well. I recommend calling ahead for a table....

This was the best lobster experience I’ve ever had. The place is located on a working dock, where lobsters come right in from the boat. The lobster roll was the best I’ve ever had—because of the yummy roll and the fresh lobster. Excellent and friendly service!

Exactly what fresh lobster on the waterfront should be. Great service and staff, great fresh food! Very nice experience, would go back again on another trip bypassing the many other lobster joints. The desserts are locally made and fresh, even if you don't have room, get it to go!

Easily one of the best lobsters I've ever had. Cute little shack on Newberry Neck with tables over the water and a fire pit. Others in my group enjoyed the lobster rolls, crab rolls, lobster mac and cheese, and steamed clams. There was a wait for the tables over the water so we opted to sit near the road, which gave us a nice view of the whole operation. Definitely a good spot to check out.

The food of fresh lobster and crab was excellent.

Worth a detour if you're driving to/fro Mt.Desert. In my memory the place stayed like a quiet trailer with outdoor seating at a long pier in the middle of nowhere, offering nice views to a few customers.

WOW..... what an experience tonight!! We walked the pier waiting for our table for dinner on the dock & met Linda Greenlaw, the woman featured in The Perfect Storm movie & then we booked a personal cruise with her for 2 hours in two days. She is going to teach us to lobster catch. Linda had been out all day then brought in the lobster she had caught all day to sell to Perry's Lobster Shack fresh. Our dinner was amazing, the experience was as well & we had an opportunity to talk with Seth, the owner, very personable young man! (remember, Seth.....Jim Kelly....lol)

Beautiful setting on their pier at Newbury Neck . Crabmeat and Lobster Rolls on a bun with Cole slaw & chips is what we had..Excellentl!

Locatio,location location. I am glad I went. The person I went with had the lobster roll and thought it was too salty and not big enough. She actually ate when she got home. The corn and Cole slaw were very good. The location is relaxing and quite enjoyable.
